We are happy to help. Email info@bdsalesinc.ca and tell us whether you use iPhone or Android. Please do not send a selfie or other sensitive information.
TrueHue needs one clear, well-lit face with visible eyes. If the image is too dark, blurry, too small, obstructed, or contains more than one face, the app asks you to try again instead of guessing. Center your face, remove sunglasses, and use even light.
TrueHue uses a deterministic color classifier. Different lighting, camera exposure, angle, or image quality can change the colors sampled from a new capture, so a new selfie may produce a different result.
Your first color analysis is complete and free. TrueHue Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited analyses and extended palette features. There is no subscription or recurring charge. Your platform's store shows the price before you buy.
iPhone: open TrueHue Settings and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Android: open TrueHue Settings and tap Restore, signed in to the Google account that made the purchase on Google Play.
iPhone and Android purchases are separate (App Store versus Google Play) and do not transfer between platforms.
Refunds are handled by the store where you bought TrueHue Pro. Refund availability depends on the store's policies and your region.
Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and request a refund.
Google Play: in the Play Store app, open your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & history, select the TrueHue Pro order, and request a refund. You can also visit support.google.com/googleplay.
Use Export my results in Settings to share a text copy. On Android, Settings, Delete all my data erases all saved readings and profiles on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes them. On iPhone, delete the app to remove its local data. Results are never synced or backed up to the cloud by TrueHue.
No. TrueHue results are style guidance for inspiration and entertainment, not professional, medical, or psychological advice.
Your analysis image is processed on your device and is never uploaded. Android uses a temporary private cache file during camera capture and deletes it after analysis.
